Our Story

Founded by Alita M. Hall in November of 2017, AMH Bookkeeping, LLC is the achievement of a dream 15 years in the making; ever since she took accounting in high school. It was there that she fell in love with accounting and QuickBooks. After pursuing both her Associate's and Bachelor's degrees in Accounting, she started looking for opportunities that would not only give real world accounting experience but business management experience as well.

In her search, she worked for Mental Health rehabilitation centers and family counseling centers before she landed at the Iowa Landlord Association in 2014; working with landlords, real estate investors, and association management.

It was with the association management skills learned at ILA that she gained the confidence to start her own business.

Now, we put our efforts into providing our clients with accurate financial records, advising them on important financial decisions that effect their business', and consult on streamlining and automating some of their most important business functions. In addition, we train our clients on proper bookkeeping data entry methods; increasing their level of involvement with their books.
